Spring blood drive, March 27

(March 15, 2012) Clayton A. Bouton High School's Student Government will hold its annual spring American Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, March 27, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Voorheesville Middle School gymnasium. To set an appointment, please call the high school office at 765-3314. Walk-ins are also welcome and can be taken up until 1:45 p.m.

The district's Red Cross representative has informed us that blood inventory continues to decline. They are taking any blood types on the DRC machines accept for AB donors. With this said, the priority is still O+, O-, A- or B-.

The school holds two blood drives each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. High school seniors who give blood are given credit toward the community service hours they must earn to graduate.
