Voters approve school budget & bus proposition

(May 17, 2011) District residents voted in support of the 2011-12 proposed budget by a vote of 500 to 328. The $21.2 million spending plan represents a 1.81 percent decrease from the 2010-2011 budget and a 2.07 percent increase in the tax levy. The bus proposition also passed by a vote of 490 to 337. Gary Hubert ran unopposed for a new seat on the Board of Education.
