Educators cross the finish line at the GHI Workforce Team Challenge

Several teachers and staff members raced in the GHI Workforce Team Challenge on Thursday, May 17, in Albany.

The 3.5-mile race included runners and walkers representing companies from around the Capital Region.

Three teams from the Voorheesville Central School District entered.

The all-female team, made up of Colleen Brackett, Kristy Johnson, Jane Loomes and Jenn Zeh, finished 28 out of 172 teams.

The all-male team, made up of Joe Sullivan, Joe Sapienza, Patrick Corrigan and Joe Ianotti, finished 123 out of 236 teams.

The co-ed team, made up of Kelly McHale, Andy Karins, Brian Stumbaugh and Linda McHenry, finished 190 out of 236 teams.
