Year-end spirit assembly includes the "Exercise Tango"

On June 12, the Voorheesville Elementary School held its year-end spirit assembly.

The assembly included presentations by the kindergarten classes, several summer safety reminders from Student Council and the sharing of a letter from the New Scotland Food Pantry that thanked students for their donations.

At the end of the assembly, eight fifth-grade students performed a tango dance routine to the song "Exercise Tango," which all students sang in music class. The fifth graders stayed after school and worked on the routine for six weeks in order to perform it for the school.
