Science and music combined

To give his eight-grade students some musical enrichment in science class, Mr. Iannotti brought his guitar to class.

Students first watched a video clip the described how guitars produce sound, and Mr. Iannotti described the energy conversion that takes place in order for the human ear to be able to hear the sound the guitar produces. Students also talked about the Hertz ranges for a variety of musical instruments.

At the end of class, Mr. Iannotti played his guitar for students!
