Student receives scholarship for work through Voorheesville’s internship program

In June, Sammy Musella received a scholarship as a result of his participation in the Clayton A. Bouton High School’s Career Exploration Internship Program.

Part of the program during the 2006-07 school year, Sammy was an intern with the construction company Bryland Inc. in Colonie. Sammy completed the internship and then continued to work with owner Bryan Smith after school.

Sammy applied for a scholarship through the Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association and was awarded a $1,000 scholarship. He plans to use the scholarship toward attending Hudson Valley Community College for Construction Technology in the fall.
