Substitute Opportunities

There are no positions available at this time.

The Voorheesville Central School District employs substitute teachers through the Capital Region BOCES substitute registry. Download an application form from the Capital Region BOCES Web site.

Applications for support staff substitutes (teacher aides, clerical staff, custodians, food service helper, school monitor, bus drivers, etc.) are accepted on an ongoing basis. Download a substitute staff application or call (518) 765-3313, Ext. 103.

Current pay rates for substitute support staff positions are as follows: Most positions - including food service helpers, clerical workers, aides and monitors - pay between $7.15 - $8.50/hour. The custodian rate is $9.00/hour. The bus driver rate is $11.46/hour. The nurse rate is $75/day. Please check the pay rate when you apply.
