Blackbird Paradise Spring Volunteer Schedule (through June 25)

 

Monday 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Wednesday 10 a.m. to Noon
Friday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Stop by any time, weather permitting, no experience necessary. Children are welcome.

Community and school groups can schedule private garden time with a garden volunteer by contacting vvillegarden@gmail.com.

High School Students: Looking for community service hours to fulfill graduation requirement?

Blackbird Paradise school garden offers an opportunity for high school students to volunteer and earn hours toward the 15-hours of community service required for graduation. If interested, email vvillegarden@gmail.com or contact Bri McAlevey at 768-2122 or Vickie Hesselbacher at 765-5610.

Outdoor Service Opportunities

Opportunity to earn volunteer hours in Blackbird Paradise Garden at the elementary school. Help with general upkeep, general gardening tasks (no experience necessary), or assist master gardeners with small group activities in the garden working with young children. Earn as many or as few credits as you wish or just lend a hand for fun.
