The 2010-11 school year-at-a-glance calendar was approved during the April 12, 2010 Board of Education meeting and is available here.

Below is a summary of the major dates for the 2010-11 school year.

Thursday, Sept. 9 No School - Rosh Hashanah
Monday, Oct. 11 No School - Columbus Day
Wednesday, Nov. 10 Staff Development Day
Thursday, Nov. 11 No School - Veterans Day
Wednesday-Friday, Nov. 24-26 No School - Thanksgiving Recess
Thursday-Monday, Dec. 23-Dec. 31 No School - Holiday Recess
 
Monday, Jan. 17 No School - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
 
Monday-Friday,
Feb. 21-25
No School - Winter Recess
April 15 Contingency Day
[Schools are scheduled to be closed. However, if three or more snow or emergency days are used, Voorheesville schools will run according to normal schedule.]
Monday, April 18 through Monday, April 25 No School - Spring Recess
May 27 Contingency Day
