To vote in the Board of Education elections, you
must be at least 18 years old and a citizen of the United States. You
must also be a resident of Voorheesville Central School District for at least
30 days prior to the vote.
Voters are required to show proof of residency before voting and provide
the clerk with identification, i.e., driver’s license, utility bill, etc.
Absentee Ballots: Residents who are unable to vote
in person may vote by absentee ballot. You may obtain an absentee
ballot by sending a letter to the District Clerk with the following
information:
If you would like an absentee ballot mailed to you,
you must submit a letter request to the Clerk by Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
You may obtain a ballot after May 13 by submitting your letter, in
person, to the Clerk. Completed absentee ballots must be received by 5 p.m.
