The Voorheesville Parent Teacher Association is committed to enhancing educational opportunities for the students of our school district. Through fund-raisers, we provide scholarships for students, sponsor extracurricular activities and clubs, and supply equipment and other materials not covered by the Voorheesville Central School District's annual budget.

What do we do?

Elementary School: Fun Fest, Science Fair, Room parents, Site-based team members, Odyssey of the Mind, Blackbird Paradise Garden, Book fairs, Thousands for Arts and Humanities programs, Collect and submit Boxtops, Soup Labels, and organize the Price Chopper Tools for Schools program, Funds for the rock walls, stage curtains and lights project, character education, school picture volunteers, counseling department resource funds, staff appreciation luncheon... and more!
Middle and High Schools: Thousands for Arts and Humanities programs, Career Exploration, Site-based team members, After prom party, Ice cream treat the first day of school, Odyssey of the Mind, Funds for the television station, staff appreciation luncheon, help finding volunteers for MS teen nights, school picture volunteers, character education... and more!

Everything you need to show your Voorheesville spirit... or to help someone else show theirs! Cheepers is open for business!

Cheepers, the elementary school store, will be open each week, typically on Friday morning, from October 1, 2010 through June 10, 2011. Grades K-2 and 3-5
will be able to visit the store on alternating weeks throughout the year (please see the Fall 2010 Letter/Grade-specific Cheepers schedule) The store offers basic and fun school and craft supplies, such as pencils, pens, folders, glue sticks, scissors, erasers, and locker accessories, just to name a few, with prices ranging from 25 cents to $3.00. We are also a source for PTA spiritwear! Some merchandise (e.g., shirts, hats, water bottles, headbands, magnets) are available at the store and for other merchandise, orders can be submitted to the store.
