MS and HS "B" Day

Lunch:  Chicken Nuggets, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Fresh Fruit, Milk

Soup of the Day:  Beef Vegetable



Art club will meet today after school.

There will be mandatory meetings during lunch periods 6 and 7 for all students attending the Cornell Model UN conference or selling carwash tickets. If you cannot attend, please see Mr. Lawrence.

The Voorheesville Public Library Book Club will hold its next book discussion here in our Library after school today. "The Year of Secret Assignments" by Jaclyn Morarty is this week's topic. Come find out what happens when a tenth grade English teacher attempts to unite feuding schools with a pen-pal project. Refreshments will be served.

There will be a Builders Club meeting today after school. Key Club members are welcome to attend.

Any boys in grades 7 and 8 who are interested in playing on an auxiliary baseball team should meet in
Mr. Turski's room today at 2:30.

Middle school Drama Club will meet today from 3:30 to 5:00 in Room 228. See Mr. Glisson if you can not attend.

Attention Middle School Students: All PTA cookie order fundraiser packets should be returned to the middle school Main Office.

Volleyball players are asked to return their jerseys to Mr. Whitty in Room 155 by the end of the day on Friday.

United for Peace and Justice is holding their annual "Everything But The Kitchen Sink Garage Sale" this Saturday from
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Commons. Don't miss this fun event and fundraiser for Haiti Relief efforts.

Students in grades 11 and 12 who are in need of community service hours may see Ms. Triller regarding helping out at the United for Peace and Justice Garage Sale this Saturday.

Attention SADD Members: There will be a mandatory meeting next Tuesday after school until 3:00 in the Health room. All members are asked to attend.

Anyone interested in lifeguard certification or in renewing their existing CPR certification must sign up with Mrs. Vorse by next Wednesday.

Pre-sale ticket order forms for "Bye Bye Birdie" are now available in the middle school and high school offices. Pick up your order form and order your tickets early to avoid the rush.

The Voorheesville School District presents the 2nd Annual Voorheesville Technology and Media Arts Festival on Tuesday, March 23 at 6:30 p.m. right here at the high school. Come see the best technology work done by our current students and alumni. Admission is free. Refreshments will be served.

High school club pictures for the yearbook will be taken during the day today. Look for schedules posted around the halls for specific club times. Pictures will be taken in the Foyer by the high school Gym.

United for Peace and Justice Club will hold a mandatory meeting today in Ms. Triller's room.

A reminder to JV Baseball players that practice will end at 5:00 today. Players need to have transportation home after practice.

Art club will meet tomorrow after school.

Congratulations to our middle school Odyssey of the Mind team. They won first place at the regional Odyssey of the Mind tournament on Saturday and now move on to the State Tournament at Binghamton University on March 27.
