Middle School Parent and Community Team (PACT). This team will be made up of parents of students in Grades 6-8. Interested parents can join the PACT during the first meeting. The focus of this team will be to enhance parents’ connection to the Middle School. Our goal is to have representation from each grade level. Friends of Music This is a community group to promote additional opportunities and scholarships in music. This group sponsors the Cabaret and various musical groups. If interested, contact Chris Jantson (765-3314, ext. 423) or Kathy Zimmerman (765-2387). Dollars for Scholars This is a community group that raises money for scholarships for college-bound students. For further information, contact Mr. Tim Kelley at 765-3314, extension 205. Site Based Management Team This is the shared decision-making team of the High
School – Middle School, mandated by Commissioner’s Regulation 100.11.
There are parent representatives on the team, teachers, students, and
support group people, as well as an administrator. The Site Based
Management Team usually meets on Mondays before the monthly Board of
Education meeting. |
